Entering the Big Kahuna! Phil and I are in the back. It was a lot of fun white water rafting on the Snake River today! We both rode the bull! (Sat in front on the bow through a rapid) Yahoo!! |

Phil got covered by white water right after we went into the big Kahuna |

Here's the crew in our raft on the way back to town. Phil, Sandy, Ashley and Tim from Chicago, Sara, Katie, and Selma (aka Thelma) from California. |

Phil and James (who we met on our hike) in front of the Grand Tetons at Taggart Lake |
We started the day with a 3.5 mile hike to Taggart Lake in Grand Teton National Park, where we saw a moose. Phil has wanted to see a moose for years now (whenever we visit NH) and he can finally lay claim to it.

You can't see the moose very well in this picture, but it's head and antler's are right in the middle |
The weather here has been fickle! Woke up to rain. Then it was sunny and nice for our hike. It started pouring just afterward and we thought our afternoon rafting excursion would be in jeopardy, but then it cleared up and was sunny and warm again. But on our way back to Dave Hansen's Rafting after our river run it started to rain again and it drizzled all night. We saw plenty of bald eagles and osprey while rafting and ended the day with a memorable dinner at Cowboy Million Bar.
